Any active member in good standing is allowed to be a guarantor provided that one has not over guaranteed. A guarantor must be willing and able to repay the loan guaranteed if the borrower fails to pay.

As a Savings and Credit Co-operative Society registered under the Co-operative Societies Act (Cap 490) of the Laws of Kenya, Faidisha Wanabiashara SACCO primarily mobilizes Savings and Deposits and extends credit to its members thereby empowering them economically and socially. The Sacco has grown from strength to strength, moving from a small group of 18 in 2012, to a growing number of over 2,400 members by 2017
